A messy bun is my usual go-to for those tired mornings that arrive far too early, but lately I’ve been pulling this little number out of my laziness arsenal instead! This fishtail bun is super simple and takes only a *little* longer than a messy bun does. It adds a finishing touch to an outfit that a messy bun can’t! |
I often can’t quite pull off blush clothing because my skin so closely matches the hue, but this tunic from Dottie seems to work regardless of my shade of “pale”. I love the crochet detail on the front and the length, it’s the perfect throw on! I call this my yeti vest because I feel silly wearing it, but it’s actually surprisingly warm! I also don’t wear it very often so when I feel that it might work with my outfit, I definitely include it. I went with an old pair of American Eagle leggings because #comfort, and added my rust fringe booties from TOMS because they are the comfiest heels I own and perfect for work!
I paired my usual watch and Pandora bracelet with my Kate Spade bow bangle from my sweet Grandma Kay! I love the feminine and delicate silhouette mixed with the fun pink sparkles all around the bangle.
My weekend was full of Dottie shifts and kitchen moving, but it was a good one for sure! I hope you all had a fantastic week, and I’ll talk to you soon!

The Dainty Days 
Loooove the pink (or should I say ‘rose quartz’) and white together! I need to get into Dottie ASAP and look at the new arrivals now that it’s warming up this week! I can’t believe those booties are TOMS – how fun!!
